SCOTT Athlete Joseph Gray Named Competitor's Trail Running Man of the Year

14 January 2014

SCOTT athlete Joseph Gray wins Competitor's 2013 Trail Running Man of the Year. Gray has had an outstanding year spanning all types of trail running. His multiple wins, high placements and consistency in competitions around the world make him the obvious choice for the Trail Running Man of the Year.

He won the U.S. Mountain Running Championships title in July, as well as his fifth consecutive NACAC Mountain Championships title. He was the top American at the World Mountain Running Championships in Poland, finishing seventh, and also raced well in several other European trail races. He also won the U.S. Trail Half Marathon Championship in November. In December he won the Lyndon Ellefson Memorial Award as the USATF's 2013 men's mountain runner of the year and a week later won the USATF Club Cross Country National Championships. Much Congratulations to Joseph Gray!
